Random Wandering in George Town, Penang, Malaysia

by Samuel on March 19, 2013

In our latest travel video we first wander down the seedy street known as Love Lane, take in some stunning ocean views and finally visit Fort Cornwallis in the historic UNESCO heritage city George Town, Penang, Malaysia. Initially we learn more about the history of Love Lane which used to be a street infamously associated with prostitution and mistresses while Samuel randomly showcases his horrendous dance moves. Upon arriving nearby the ocean we’re greeted by a friendly cat and playful kitten. We notice many fishermen, small boats, tankers and even a huge cruise ship. It was quite the contrast between big and small, humble and enormous. We notice a group of runners and at first think it’s just a running club; however, upon further inspection we realize that a marathon is happening. Finally, we visit the historic Fort Cornwallis named after the city founder. On the way back home we notice lots of rickshaw and trishaws along with spotting a game of pick-up basketball.
